When you become a Cougar Athletic Fund member, you become a member of the Cougar team. Because you joined the team, young men and women are able to earn a degree while competing in the Pac-12 Conference. Furthermore, the impact of your support extends well beyond the years our student-athletes compete at Washington State. Our student-athletes’ experience at Washington State prepares them for life after graduation. Even when you can’t be in Pullman to cheer on our student-athletes at home events, you can cheer them on every day by joining the team as a Cougar Athletic Fund member. Go Cougs!
Cost of Attendance
Membership to the Cougar Athletic Fund is critical for WSU Athletics to cover the annual cost of student-athlete scholarships. Division I college athletes now can receive athletics scholarships that provide funds to help pay the full costs of attending college. Included in cost of attendance are all reasonable expenses such as tuition, room and board, books and supplies, personal expenses and transportation.
Prevailing in the classroom and for life after Washington State is at the forefront of our mission at WSU Athletics. The investment by our Cougar Athletic Fund members is critical to achieve this purpose. Our Student-Athlete Development office helps our student-athletes balance their academic and athletic responsibilities and further realize their potential.
Because of the investment by our Cougar Athletic Fund members, young men and women are able to come to WSU and earn a degree while competing in the prestigious Pac-12 Conference. Our Academic Resource Center (ARC) offers support to help student-athletes start on the right path, maintain academic progress, and complete their degrees during their time at WSU.
